Perfect Cat needs help....... Empty Perfect Cat needs help.......

Post  stephenbower42 Fri Jun 25 2010, 14:21

Hi Everyone.
So about 2 years ago I bought a Cat as my first bike it had done 13k and was like new.
The problem was I hadn't got a license :(
But good news she's on the road. what a great bike. done about 2k miles on her now.

I am looking to buy a full fairing if anyone can help?
My Cat really does look like she's just rolled out of the factory only mods are indicators, wing mirrors, and I have changed the dash bulbs for LED's as they give much clearer colour.
The body work is Black Silver and Orange and does not have a single mark anywhere on it.

I want a spare fairing to ride around with as I intend to be an all wheather biker and doing some long trips, so I can keep the original bodywork for shows, meets and a few nice summer days.
It really do think it could be the best condition Cat on the Road (I know thats a big call) and I want to keep it that way..

I'll upload some pics soon so you can all let me know what you think.

Hi, welcome.

There are fairings advertised on eBay, Chinese made though and by all accounts not as good as the 'real deal'. They are not that expensive, so could be an option for you. At least if it gets marked you won't feel so bad.

Welcome, Motocc do a small selection of fairings for about 450 quid and you can pay extra for any design from other fairings that they do.

i met a guy who used chinese fairing on his blackbird and they looked great, he said he was very pleased with them and they were not to difficult to fit, so this could be the way to go great
