Hi to all. I've been a member now for a few months and thought it was about time that i introduced myself to the forum!
I passed my DAS Full licence 3 weeks ago and got the bike back from the MOT station last week. I bought the bike 4 months ago from a friend that passed his DAS on a friday and smashed it on the sunday pale . I paid £100 for the bike and spent a further £150 getting it to a safe condition. the last week has consisted mostly of as much riding as possible!!
Before the cat i had a 300cc road legal quad which was good prep for bike riding as i had never riden anything before the quad. I'm from the Berkshire area and wondered if there was anybody else local or any meets happening soon??
Anyway, Thats me so hi again and ride safe.

Hi & welcome! Wow, your poor friend - has he since got another bike or has it put him off? That was certainly a good deal you picked up there and at least he knew it went to a good home! Hope you enjoy your cat and have lots of long and safe riding!! Very Happy

I'm up in the sunny north I'm afraid, so not very local for Wiltshire!

Hi, welcome - sorry also a bit far away.

Congrats on getting your license and I think you'll be well pleased with your 'Cat too.

I'm sure you must have seen the ride outs we have in the 'Something for the Weekend' section. First one of the year is taking place this weekend.
Maybe like to come along to Bishops Castle.

I'm in Sandhurst near Wokingham. No Storm he hasn't got another bike yet but has mentioned about getting one so it hasn't put him off altogether. R2D2 anytime you fancy some berkshire roads we'll sort something out. great
