That WON'T be me then pmsl Welcome and if you're mr 'atadslow' i must be Ms 'almostatastandsill' lachen
Still, you will be relieved to hear that i'm the minority of almost one when it comes to knowledge (but not speed!) so plenty of people to give you the benefits of their awe inspiring wisdom .... and if you need bits then you may be interested in the post i put up for someone on the for sale bit last night Very Happy

Hi & welcome! I'm afraid I'm also in the category of having nil bike mechanical knowledge but look forward to hearing how the project comes along.

Hi MrTadSlow

Good luck with the chassis. Once you've got an engine, gearbox, chain etc I'm sure you'll be Mr Tad Faster.

There are a few on here that are quite mechanically minded but I rarely attempt anything above 3 spanners in Haynes.

Cheers

I'll add my name to the list of us without a mechanical clue

(If it won't start and it's not out of petrol then I'm out of ideas)

But Hello anyway.
