The Abba Stand is pretty good, has a fitting for the 'Cat.

Might not be the cheapest stand, but is sturdy and so easy to use.

Hi Kev

I've got lovely purple Micron ones.
They are universal (they can adjust to fit different widths of forks / swing arms)

Never had any issues getting it up.......nor it going down on me when I don't want it to. shit happens

They were a good deal at the time and might still be.

Can't remember if I bought them in Hein G or possibly online at Busters or someplace like that.

Cheers

Why on earth not ? Shocked

Pinlock is a great bit of kit , stops all that misting up malarky and you can change the colours of the insert as well as having a clear one. great

Probably the guide on your visor or the mechanism in the visor plate has worn

Pinlock is a great bit of kit , stops all that misting up malarky ... great

I have tried virtually every spray, wipe, stick and snake oil treatment to stop misting even though I have an anti-everything visor. Not even leaving the visor slightly open helped (maybe I'm just hot stuff lachen ).

My new lid has Pinlock, not had much chance to use it lately, but the little I have - what a difference. Why on earth did I waste my time and money with all that other stuff? - Live and learn I guess.

What does the cable tie do?

Sorry can't help on your eBay items.

i used to use them fog up on my last aria, but i bought the rx7-gp, which has pin lok fanstastic, the advantage with them if you use a dark visor just swop it from your clear visor, no problem they work really well Very Happy Also after a period of time and you need a new visor you already have the pin lok, smashing Very Happy

Hi Kev.....I've got the purple Micron one and it is fine. I guess you could check whether you can get brand new ones for a similar price. I bought front and rear at the same time and got a good deal at the time I seem to remember.

Hi Steve...I guess it stops the visor completely closing .... if you've tied it round the chin part of the lid.

My ogk has a brilliant ratchet mechanism & you can leave it open just enough to stop it misting up even in the worst rain & humidity possible. It does not shut itself at over 100mph either.

I take it you found that out on a closed private road??

Think am gonna invest in a new lid. That last one was cheap and i want one that can use pinlock cause everyone raves about them(as av just seen!!)

thanks for the replys!
