Hi - thanks for a great weekend Empty Hi - thanks for a great weekend

Post  Chocie Mon Sep 09 2013, 14:56

Following an invite from a friend who's been a member for many years I decided to come along to the "Taste of Lincolnshire" event.

After receiving a very warm welcome from Chris and the rest of the party I had a fantastic days riding followed by a lovely evening meal and a few drinks, to say the least....

I had a brilliant weekend and would like to thank you all for being so hospitable, even though I don't own a Thundercat!

I found the event to be well organised and hats off to Chris for sorting a quality route and the planning of the whole day in general, and not to forget Pete, who I believe lives in or around Fairy Bridge? for keeping the whole pack together.

All the best guys, thank you once again and hopefully I will be along to another meet soon..........

Mark (Chocie).
PS: I was the guy on the GSXR 1000 K6 "missile" with the 2 LED's on the rear - sincere apologies if I  petrified anyone whilst passing!!!

Welcome to the group mate. Missile's not the word. You were just a blur as you went past me on the return through those twisties on the way back! (I was the one on the 1150 Tractor.)

Hi Mark,

Glad to hear you enjoyed the ride-out. You missed the humiliation on Sunday morning at the venue; which was probably for the best. Embarassed

Nice to see you signed up on the site and hope to see you on one of our other events sometime, or even ToL 11!

Chris

PS that is a mighty fine bike mister

Hi Chocie and welcome to the forum

Unfortunately I missed TOL but I've done several forum ride outs and echo what others have said, great bunch of people and the ride itself caters for all experience levels, the post ride banter is usually pretty special too. Hopefully see you on a future ride out but if not you're only up the road from me in Wigan so could always meet up in the future if you fancy.

Best of luck

Didn't really notice the L.E.D's but welcome to the site.

Always a good group of people to each rideout there is and over the years, everything has been polished by the respective organiser's to each meeting.

Sorry we didn't get to chat in the evening but we had to get back for the little fella.

Do you go biking in North Yorkshire by any chance?

But glad you enjoyed the rideout, and sorry if I got in your way if I did.

Welcome in Mark, when I was following you I thought I was being shot at, fair play that bike moves in your capable hands & that can is extremely hollow (I could see your pistons moving lol)
Hopefully see you on some more rides next year,
