Unbelievable. Racing after surgery to have his clavicle pinned.

Ouch. Fair play!

He certainly deserves a medal for bravery (or stupidity - maybe the op he went to Barcelona for was a frontal lobotomy?) wall

But good to see the Doctor is finally back.

Who knows? But he finished ahead of the works Hondas, which is a good step forward.

After he crossed the finish line Jorge literally collapsed over his tank, (just in front of me I might add) he must've been in agony but that guy has got balls the size of basket balls to put himself through that, he's a legend, not like these pretty boy footballers and people who take a week off with a cold!!

Lorenzo is an absolute hero riding in that state, let alone that well. I've grown some real respect and admiration for him this year!
Part of me hopes this has sparked some life back into Rossi and he'll start from here (as long as he learns to qualify) but the other part of me was hoping Yam would give Cal the factory ride but if Rossi's woken up that's not going to happen, is it?

Apparently talks are afoot for Dorna (Dorma?) to sponsor/contribute toward a 3rd Yam factory bike for Cal, not sure of how much truth there is in that

Once his clavicle was fixed, he would have been a lot more comfortable, plus they will have loaded it with local anesthetic, sadly he's probably causing irreversible damage by continuing to use it.

He broke the same one in 2006, had it pinned back then. He then had a further operation in 2009 to remove the "scaffolding" so chances are it's already pretty donkeyed but then again I suppose it's the price they pay for the sport they do... and they are handsomely recompensed for the dangers they face.

He doesn't tend to do things by half, in 2008 he broke both his ankles after a massive highside in practice, he went on to finish 4th in the eventual race, 2 weeks later he was lifted onto his bike at Le Mans practice session and promptly came off....... Again he chose to compete in that race finishing 2nd!!!! he had to be carried up to the podium and sat there sucking a lollipop.

Madness it may be but no one can knock his spirit and determination. these are a special kind of slightly mad. Gotta love it Smile
