Hi from Motherwell,Scotland

Hello everyone. I am currently going through the process of gaining my bike license. I have been looking at different bikes for a 1st bike and tbh the thundercat seems to tick all the boxes for me. So with that I am looking forward to being part of this community and hopefully purchase a nice looked after cat in the next few months.

Thanks. Will keep my eyes peeled for something on the forum which catches my eye. Would prefer to buy from a forum member who have cherished their bike rather than ebay ect. Not got great experience with bikes so need to be careful at where I purchase and who from.

Hi and welcome to the forum, good luck with your test and the best purchase of your life to date.

Can't go wrong with a 'cat, bought mine through Ebay without even viewing it and although she had been dropped (which I found out at a later date when I dropped it) she has been 'puuurfect' for me once I'd sorted my damage out. lol.

Take someone with you who's knowledge about bikes is more than yours, look in the workshop bit of the forum for any issues you should look out for when viewing. I'm sure plenty more advice will come your way soon.

Plenty of thundercat brains on this site. Have a play with the search feature and ask any outstanding questions you may have.

Some 'local' group ride outs next year if you fancy it as the ones in the next couple of months might be a bit too soon for you.

Have a look in "Something for the Weekend" for some of this years shennaigans.
