my summer project Empty my summer project

well folks i came across this 1983 honda 250 superdream deluxe a mate of mines wife ordered off the property she was sick of seeing it in the garage i dont know much about them to be honest but its in great condition hes had it since 1996 but hasnt used it since 2004 its got service history only 2 owners from new and has only covered 8496 miles so iam going to give it some tlc just need a new exhaust for it and a battery clean the carbs and the fuel tank some of you must of had one before so any hints and tips would be greatly appreciated like i say i know nothing about them ill keep you updated on my progress

My older brothers friend had a red one donkeys ago, thought it was a right machine. Nice find.

I had the 125 wetdream version , changed the jets and big bored the barrel , very quick (100+) very reliable until some one took a baseball bat to it , never did get it going again , miss it tho

mmm need exhausts for it they are rotten but front pipes are ok apart from ebay anyone know a good place to get them

Note to self always fill the tank up when iam not using the bike for a while i took the tank off last night put some fresh petrol in with some marbles and gave it a good shake odear had to do it 4 times till it was clear the amount of gunge and rust was unreal not looking forward to cleaning the carbs now hope the floats are ok
