Just wondered if I can put Premium unleaded in the cat or will it upset her? Local garages all out of regular and fancy a spin out tomorrow, will it cause a problem?

Wouldn't have thought a tank or two would do any harm (if any at all with more). Enjoy the weather while it lasts. Supposed to be getting worse (back to normal) for the weekend. Nothing new there then huh ! grumpy

Can't see it being an issue tbh.

The higher octane fuels won't help nor hinder the engine. The additional detergents in the fuel may even clean the carbs up a smidgen (or more likely, do seven tenths of naff all!).

I always put top grade stuff in if I know I'm not going to use the bike for several weeks. In the past I've had the carbs clog up with gel from leaving ordinary 95 in for too long.

So the answer is, no, it won't do any harm and as ScoldedCat says, may even give it a spring clean.
