Wednesday eve again.

Post by yamahamad on Tue Jul 12, 2011 9:18 pm

Wednesday is upon us again & the weather certainly looks better than last week.
I am riding with new rider rob & probably another mate dave to either squires or settle.
If anyone fancies meeting there or meeting up & riding let me know.
Paul.

Had a great fun ride out with cracking weather. We decided on riding to settle which meant heading west into the sun, a few oh s**t moments coming round a corner out of the trees into blinding sunshine at a fair pace.
My mate rob who passed a few weeks ago is making excellent progress, he has gone from being painfully slow & will not overtake anything to making safe progress & corners are getting more flowing rather than square & panicked.

Robs gsxr 600 k3.

My other mate dave has built his current bike over three years from lots of bikes put together & it is a fantastic little thing. A few teething problems & reliability issues seem to be sorted now apart from cutting out in sundays monsoon rain, it does look like a ducati at a glance though.

Ok i know this a thundercat site so enough of inferior bikes.
A proper bike.

Aches & pains not too bad rich, thanks for asking. It was only a 58 mile round trip with nearly an hour cig,tea & chat stop which helps.
Did 110 miles on sunday & was in pain sunday night & most of monday. Would no way be able to do hundreds of miles at the moment for sure but it is improving.
How are you doing? When you free to try & arrange a seaways meet again?
Paul.
