Hello one and all,

after my first prang at the weekend I know need some parts if anyone has any of these and is willing to part with them for a fair price please let me know, or if you know anyone/anywhere where these parts could be obtained I would be hugely grateful!

I am looking for a tcat top front fairing in red
tcat lower left and right fairings black and white, black on the top and white on the bottom
tcat front headlight
tcat front forks (or if anyone knows some good not to expensive aftermarket ones?

and help is very much appreciated!

many thanks

If the forks only have a small kink in them an engineering shop may be able to put them through rollers to straighten them

If thay have a big kink in them i would get someone to have a look at the head stock to make sure it's not bent also..

Davie
PS: I have no parts for a Thundercat

Studying the photos I'm hoping the headstock is fine, the tubes on the forks are definitely fubared though. If Dave can get some half decent forks I'll rebuild them using the original internals.

Ebay FORKS link

Ebay YAMAHA-YZF-600-THUNDERCAT-1997-BIKE-BREAKING link , lots of bits , there's a headlight in one of the piccies.

Ebay Yamaha-YZF600-YZF-600-Thundercat-LHS-fairing-panel link , could ask if they have RHS as well.

Ebay YAMAHA-YZF600R-Thundercat-NEW-GENUINE-HEADLIGHT link .

Nother HEADLAMP link.

Ebay YAMAHA-YZF-600-THUNDERCAT-YOKES-TOP & BOTTOM link , just in case.

Ebay Comp fairing Set link. Yeah I know they're from China but if yer to a budget, these are way cheaper than OEM.

You didn't mention it but I bet the front mud guard went west too. Here's a LINK to an item on Ebay.

It's a start for you.

PS: More YAMAHA-THUNDERCAT-FRONT-FAIRINGS might be worth a look. Need a re-spray , but I bet you know a man that can do that Wink

PPS: Best yet LINK , Buy it NOW £35 , Red & Black fairing. Depends on how damaged the RHS is though.

I have a set of fairings in my garage somewhere, black at the top and white at the bottom..
They're not perfect and have a couple of cracks around the indicators but as far as i can remember they are in good enough nick to put straight on..
I'm home next week and can dig them out, send you a couple of pics if you like.

Sounds like most of the bits are available one way or another! Bought any bits yet?

Thanks for that oldcat, funnily enough I had seen that last night and phoned the guy, but he has already sold the red front fairing, but managed to get a pretty good condition black and white mid and low fairing set for £70 this morning which I am quite chuffed about!

Though does anyone know where a decent set of yammy Tcat decals can be found, seen some on ebay but wondered if anyone knows any other/better places?

very close to it now, I think now all that is left is a red front fairing to match the one that was broken, so thats the last piece that I am hunting for!
