really pee'd off about my off

Trying to run it through my mind over n over again that i couldnt have done anymore. Bloke in left lane me in right slowly approaching traffic lights on red. He does a u turn. I hit his offside rear luckily doing less than 30mph n it flicks bike over onto ns and me off into sat lunchtime traffic. Anyone who knows armley lights at leeds will know at that time its packed.

Bike cosmetically buggered. It eventually started n i rode it home. Waiting for insurance to come back to me. Im black n blue but ok.

thats bad news its any man/woman for them self down there ive come close to dragging people out of their cars before round there it least your ok 30 mph hurts dont it ive only had 1 off before it was only about 20 mph trying to get my knee down on a trial bike not my best idea but a least my spine and the kerb stoped me sliding into a nice soft bush i cant believe they never saw your u must have the most noticable bike in the world hope it gets sorted soon hope it hasnt put you off and bloody sue um for every last penny

at the time youre just glad to stand up and he was really nice and admitted total responsibility. it all happens so quick you dont always do what you think you will

helmet through windscreen closly followed by his head should be first thought then, darn how am i gonna explain that to the police

Sorry to read this Emma but very glad you are able to & you are not sat in hospital covered in pot. Have you got yourself checked out? Hope you are on the mend really soon & the bike is fixed with the minimum of fuss.

Glad your physically ok. I know what you mean though, tbh it's not even the damage to the bike, it's all the hassle and inconvenience you now have to go through. Oh for an easy life.

I hope you're on the mend as quickly as possible and sorting all this out doesn't cause too much trouble.

That's the second incident reported on the site in the last 10 days. Both it seems caused by the ill considered actions of other (more protected) road users. As someone said to me only yesterday 'There are two types of drivers: insane drivers and certifiably insane ones.' It's an attitude you seem to have to have on 2 wheels.

well it got worse. we decided to go in the car for a carvery at Sun inn and call at squires and car broke down badly on A1

sat waiting for RAC who then told me my cover will only tow us ten miles!

got to red bus cafe on a64 and then had to get a mate to tow us home to pudsey

aaargh it cant get much worse lol

That's awful luck. It's gotta turn around soon and you'll be back on the bike and feeling much better.

Years ago I had sort of the same thing happen (more my fault tho). I was working down in Gloucester and came back up north for the weekend - on the Sunday morning me and the then girlfriend decided to go out on two up on my GPZ for the day. I went to fill up and decided to take the windey route home cos I was riding solo, and I ended up sticking the bike in a hedge and flipping myself down the road. So that was Sunday ruined, me bruised and the bike in need of some new bits.
A few days later the head gasket in my old ford escort gave up the ghost on the motorway and ruined my engine! From six wheels to none.

Anyway, enough of my waffle...

feeling a bit better today

just want my bike back on the road. Its rideable but rather have it inspected first

I hope you get the bike back into the pristine condition it was in.

They are coming to look at mine next monday.
