Went out on the Cat at last tonight. Bought my gear at the BMF and after 23 years I rode again.

Admittedly I did less than 10 miles but it's been nearly a 1/4 century and then it was a CB 200 and when I was a wee lad a X5 so cut me some slack please.

Well RTB.

All I can say is dont worry. I was in a similar position last year. My 350YPVS was pinched back in '82 and I never replaced it. Until 2010.

After a weekend away with a few on this site (big mac '10) i felt a whole more confident and next Saturday I'm doing bikesafe. All I suggest is keep riding and do it at your own pace and confort zone.

The reason I got the Cat was because a workmate got a Ninja and he's not on the road yet(that's another story).

And yes I did enjoy my little jaunt. Very Happy

Good stuff. Did you enjoy it though? Was 10 mins too long, too short or just right.

Great stuff , just go at your own pace , your confidence will grow and grow , you'll be fine. There are quite a few in here who are fairly new to riding(and I include myself ) so you are not alone .Enjoy your revisited biking experience,

Thanks all. My mate should be on his Ninja next week so hopefully we'll be travelling further.
Round here most head for Hunstanton in the summer, I expect I'll be there at some point. Very Happy

Mine was red, neighbour has a red one as well (is that the only colour), he also has an X (82) GS 550.

my m8 had a green 1 but it was always breaking down red,s the best even on thundercats as well
