Folks,

Terry is going to look after things for 2011 and has asked me to pop up a calender placeholder, so people can save the date.

It's looking like the weekend will be based in Masham Black Lion in Richmond, and accommodation details will be posted as they become available. are posted below in MevsyD's post.

A repeat of last years 'Hotel Entry Krypton Factor' entertainment may be arranged if enough people show an interest.

Just a quick post to let you guys know we are all safe and sound after a cracking days riding. Only one one very near miss and one smashed I phone. Weather was poor this morning, pouring down but did not spoil the fun. The sun came out after lunch which was nice. Now beer and food time.

back safe from my first Surf and Turf. It's getting to be a trend that I get wet on the way back from Rideouts!

Extremely tired. Thanks to Angie and Martin for the organising the lodgings and Eddie/ Terry for organising.

Very challenging roads. The Yorkshire weather as unpredicable as every.

Will have to visit again so I can have more time to take in the breath taking views.

Once again a fantastic weekend spent in the company of some great people and some great roads. Weather didn't spoil a single mile of it and even though I live up here I have learnt some new places to go with pals when on a sunday scratch. As always some choice moments a something for the weekend ride wouldn't be without including a classic demonstration of a two wheel slide by a rossi replica!

Big thanks to all that attended from near and far, great to catch up with some of the people that I know already and equally great to meet people new. Massive thanks to Terry and Chris who once again pulled out all the stops to make it a fantastically organised rideout with no problems and looking foreard to next years shenannigans already.

Home a few hours ago after a fairly wet but fun ride home.

Thanks to martin for organising a great place to stay & angela & all the staff for making us feel more than welcome. Food & beer were excellent.

Thats me home safe and sound after a cracking weekend.

As above massive thanks to Terry and Chris for organising the ride and the cracking roads we were treated to.

Also Martin & Angela for your hospitality and warm welcome - though Martin you are now officially barred from riding behind me as you are a jinx.

Good to meet some new faces and cheers for the beers and laughs.

Also massive thanks to Rosco for adding 2 days of fantastic ride outs to this for me, great run down on Friday and back today - and also thanks for not taking advantage of me as I slept, at least I hope you never ........

Off for a bath to soothe my aching muscles and before anyone starts that has nothing to do with the sleeping arrangements. Cant wait to see the pics again Ross and for the old caption comp.

Interesting ride up after Selkirk. Went towards St. Mary's Loch and then Innerleithen (part of this years Wee Mac route). I started by having a old boy pull out in front of me which I fortunately anticipated and slowed in plenty of time. He then courteously waved me rather than an apologetic wave which I thought was nice. Then about 20 pheasants and a rabbit all wanted to get close to me. Thankfully not all at the same time. Seriously thought I was going to get a bird on my face at one point.

Looking forward to the next one.

I would like to say a big thanks to all of you for making me feel welcome, dispite all the wrong turn offs I made.
I was a bit anxious at first with wet roads, mud and leaves on the roads, but after lunch when the sun made it out and the roads dried nicely with faster winding "A" roads it was very enjoyable indeed.
It was great to follow a precession of bikes braking and leaning into bends and there was suprisingly few cars on the roads.
And by the time I got home I had clocked up nearly 300 miles ( nearly doubling my total mileage)
Was a bit stiff the next day though.
