Thanks yamahamad and espaceman3 for your posts.

Not much money in the kitty so it may take a while, to get it back in top notch condition.

Its such a shame as she is like new, with only 8000 miles on the clock and only just had the fork seals and mot.

anyway onwards and upwards.

i got my replacement mirror from m&p - think it was about £14 at the time - only thing i noticed is that whilst it looks the same as the original one (one of which is still on the other side) i've noticed that over time a bit of the paint has started coming off the actual strut of the mirror which i assume is because its not an actual yamaha one - or maybe it was a dodgy batch Smile

S & W, I've a spare DB screen. One of the mounting holes is broken (unseen when fitted to the bike) but I super glued the rubber holder in it and it held it fine. There are a couple of marks on it but its ok if yours is damaged.

If you are interested, I could take some photos then we could go from there.

Cheers Rich.

Hi Rich

I have got a standard screen on the bike at the moment, a bit grubby so post a couple of pictures along with info and we can see were we go, lucky me I have a trip to newcastle a 500 mile round trip to pick up a complete fairing at the weekend so the cat is coming back to life soon.

Thanks
