Thunderstu and 'Cat to the rescue

While coming back home from a 100 mile round trip with my boy as pillion yesterday we spotted a fellow rider in distress.

I pulled over to ask what's up, he says ' she made a funny noise and died on me man, I've been pushing her home for the last mile, i think the chain's come off'
I check the chain, 'nah your chain isn't off mate, it's tight as a nut,which it shouldn't be, needs a bit of slack and it needs oiling up, do it asap though'.
I ask if I can try and start her, I do the usual check, stand up, neutral light on, kill switch etc etc. I press the starter da da da da (trying to start up), clickety click click.(priming sound)

'haha check your tank mate, I think your out of fuel'.

Luckily the guy found it funny and accepted to have his photo taken for on here

found out he lives in the next street from me so now I got another buddy to ride with.

I mentioned the forum to him (if that's ok) as he wants to go on weekends out, so he may join, if he does join I'll nominate him for a point straight away lol

Sure, no problem at all.

Sounds like you'll have to do his pre ride checks for him if you do ride together
