Trade Swap ect

I currently ride a 1997 Yamaha yzf600r Thundercat but fear I have made the wrong choice for my needs.
She is a lovely machine and in good condition you may have seen me at the recent ride of respect.

But I need something more upright for commuting and the odd weekend get away.

limited funds mean I am looking to swap for a honda deauville or similar.
I was wondering if there was anyone on the forum that maybe interested in a trade if so please pm me and let me know.

She has done 174000 miles
I have limited history being
8 MOT certs
Data Tag Paper work
V5 3 showing previous owners
Stainless exhaust
Two new continental tyres a month ago

She is in a generaly good condition for a 97 reg clean has the odd mark thats not out of the ordanary for age.

I use her almost daily wash her religiously when the weather gets her dirty and I love her very much.

I don't realy want to get rid but I need something better suited to my needs.

I would need to trade for an alternative idealy because its my only means of transport and have limited funds so don't want to put my self in a position where I am without wheels.

I may be open to offers but would need to time it right if looking at a cash deal.

Its what the clock says I can have a nose at the mots I think it shows the milage on them.

I'm not sure about the merc bit :lol3:

I have had a look at some options like that and haven't discounted the idea but I am trying to keep my costs down.

The Thundercat clock only has 5 digits, so are you sure it's not 14,700 miles? If so, that's low!

I am a dummy your right it reads 17413.8

Thought about an FZS600 Fazer, engine essentially retuned T cat unit and the riding position is more upright. Cracking bike by all accounts.

You czn even get them in the fastest Thundercat colours:

After some thought and research I have put her up for sale @ £1500 I was meant to meet a bloke with a Triumph Trophy this morning but he turned out to be a bit of a time waster.
I have had a look at the fazer but its not realy my thing. What I am looking for is decent weather protection with a comfy riding position.

with that amount of miles I would say that price is very low, someone is going to get a bargain, she looks in VERY good nick, if I had £1500 I would bight your hand off!!

I now have this 'cat after doing a trade with my bike for it. I can vouch for the fact that the mileage is 17400 although it will be increasing throughout this summer and beyond. I am new to this site and have introduced myself in the relevant section.
What a lovely bike the Thundercat is and am really looking forward to learning more about it!!
