Hello ladies and gents, just thought id say hello as im newbie to the forum, well my names dustin fogarty but everyone calls me foggy im 23, from dover but currently based in norfolk as im in the 1st royal tank regiment, been into bike for a long time but mainly dirt bikes, was chatting to friend and family and a thundercat was suggested as a good bike to get for my first road bike so had a look at a few and love em, not taken the plunge as of yet but will be very soon , well anyway hello

Hi foggy,

Welcome to the site. Glad to hear you're looking for a 'cat.
Don't worry about the colour - you can always change it, but whatever you get it will be the fastest!

My advice - try and find one that's got a stainless exhaust system and check out, or get someone to check out, the change in and out of second gear is smooth and stays there under power. Most other stuff can be fixed quite cheaply.

As has been said above the "Cat" is an exellent choice for a first big road bike.
It can be used as a fantastic scratcher on the weekend as a fun bike, it's a great commute to and from work and to top it all it's a smashing tool for touring.
Frugal on the fuel no matter which you choose to do and it's style still turns heads. Plus there's this site with it's many meetings, ride out's and aways.

Sprung from the county next door so no change; just moved around the corner and less off the old but then again I was dismayed to see that although I have been off site for a while the thing still registered me as being a year older.

Things are well, life is good and I still intend to make one of the rideouts that is of course if you forgive me for selling Bambi who is now gracing the tarmac of Dorset I believe, seemingly it is safer not so many rogue deer

I'll keep an eye on whats going on and catch up with you and others whilst contributing to the witty banter and debate.

as for selling Bambi .... well, that's all in the past now (she says through gritted teeth lol) ... and you have plenty rideouts to choose from and you can buy me a beer to make up for your absence TOL is not that many miles from you again lol

well finally found a cat, did belong to a friend he sold it to another friend a couple of months back he dont have time to ride it so im gonna take it off his hands, few things im gonna do to it before its on the road. So watch this space
