Here are accommodation options available for this years ride-out around Lincolnshire.

The base is in Woodhall Spa and we'll be exploring some of the best roads and finest food the area has to offer.
The start and ending point will, again, be the very hospitable Village Limits Country Pub, Restaurant and Motel.
We have stayed here many times before. It's a modest pub and restaurant with wonderful accommodation and fantastic award winning food. I have booked 4 twin rooms, but they have 8 in total so please contact them directly if all pre-booked spaces are filled. There is also other hotel and bed and breakfast accommodation in the village and a good campsite next door to the main venue. Accommodation shouldn't be a problem, but please get in touch if you need more information.

The first section in the morning is pretty gentle, apart from the twisty bit.    But surely you'll have scrubbed most of the tyre in just getting there?
The full route for Saturday is a bit longer than normal,  but there are plenty of options if we want to change it. We'll have a chat about that in the morning.

so  i  will probably ride  down  with  tel  on  sat  morning  do the  1st half of the ride  till lunch

Hiya All,

The weather has been glorious since we got here on Tuesday and keeping everything crossed it will stay like this for the weekend.

Alleycat, when you get to the campsite you are more than welcome to join us on pitch D5 for a cold drink of you would like to. We are thinking about having a Chinese takeaway tomorrow before we go to the pub so you would be welcome to join us for that too if you would like to.

Head south and then into East Anglia Ellie, the forecast I've seen says I could just about get there dry as long as I don't arrive after 4:30

Yeah, I've noticed the rain forecast and I've not brought any waterproof's.

Contemplating doing the ride out then legging it back at 12 o'clock.

An MV or a classic Jap bike ain't gonna work too good in the wet (yes I'm talking from painful experience at BC) Bas*#rd weather!

Just cut the labels off my 'new' waterproof trousers which I've had a few months now, was hoping to have not used them for a while still

Oh FFS!! So do I wear leathers and a waterproof overall or wear textiles that are too big? Why couldn't this have been this week, the weather's been glorious.

I'm sure we will, thanks, rain only goes skin deep, unpleasant but adds character.

Leathers that fit and waterproofing sounds better than ill fitting textiles to me

Hope you all arrive safe and sound and have a great ride (drive) out tomorrow, whatever the weather. Sorry to miss this one again but as we will be at Oulton Park next weekend for the BSB, it was just too close.
