Re: Rear Number plate mount
I'm guessing that someone hit you up the rear, the light seems to be pushed inwards. Best to strip it down and see what can be saved. You might have to buy another inner tray like this - eBay

It's not standard T40.
Hopefully there's enough plastic there to try Tom's suggestion. Might be worth going over the bike's project post to see if anything was done to to the under tray, I seem to think there was.
If you want to compare it to a standard 'cat, I can arrange with you for a meet-up ttboy.

Having now read Jayster's [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] post, I've found out that it is a modified/standard tray. So, it looks like you will be needing a replacement if you want to return the bike back to its former looks.

Re: Rear Number plate mount
I've just thought of an alternative to replacing your damaged tray...
If you want to make the bike look even better, why not fit one of these - Skidmarx Undertray.
You can keep your damaged tray because it will need to be cut even more so that the "Skidmarx Undertray" will fit properly. Find out whether lights are included, sometimes they aren't.

The photo above shows a different style that is available in the USA.

Re: Rear Number plate mount
Had to go the easy route, used some cable ties to attach it back, i know its not very pretty but took me like 2 mins and saved me a few quids. but tbh you cant see the cable ties and its a pretty solid fixing

I like cable ties
Well done for getting it sorted, just in time for summer (now look what I've gone and done!)
