Surf and Turf Sign Up - 25th/26th Sept

First topic message reminder :

Hi Everyone,

Dates changed a wee bit after a bit of discussion.
Can we please have a show of virtual hands for Surf and Turf 2009? Last weekend in September is going to be the best option for getting some really nice digs.

We are looking to stay at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] which is a lovely wee pub with good food, up to 15 real ales and nearly 300 single malts!!! If we get enough interest the landlady has agreed to do us a deal for £20pppn B&B.

Thought I'd put the feelers out nice and early so folks can make space in the dairy.
We'll be staying at the pub on the Fri and Sat nights, with the main rideout on Saturday. A few of us who don't live too far away will probably be heading out on Fri and Sun too, giving us one full day riding in the Lake District (Fri) and one full day exploring the Yorkshire Dales (Sat) with a wee run out to Devil's Bridge/Hartside Top Cafe (Sun) to relieve the inevitable hangovers before riding home.
I couldn't attend last year (I was on the naughty step at home) but the format will be pretty similar, unfortunately without the 'entertainment' of the Meatloaf impersonator .

Anyway, something like this would be handy;

Everyone, I've just been speaking too Sue (Landlady) and she has had some interest for the rooms we had provisionally booked so I needed to give her confirmation of numbers. So, I've booked us 3 x Doubles and 3 x Twins at the minute as per previous posts for Fri 25th and Sat 26th Sept. I've also warned her that we will all be eating and drinking (probably in bacchanalian proportions knowing you lot) there on the Sat night.
There are still 1 or 2 rooms available, anybody else who wants to come along will need to book it themselves. Contact info is below, just say you are part of the motorbike group booking along with Chris Eddie and you should get the same deal as us.

I've not managed a forum rideout since BC for various reasons & am looking forward to meeting up again
I'll be bringing my better half too so that will be two more Thundercats in the ranks
