I made THIS
As per my 'Guess what I am making' thread, I thought I would reveal all.
Unfortunately no-one guessed what it was so the star prize of matching M10 nut and bolt stays in my nut draw......
; )
Yesterday and today, I R been mostly making this....

A pic with the maestro relaxing after a hard days work

I'm a happy bunny, the seats are from an old Land Rover Discovery. When this finally go into my Disco, I will replace them with Range Rover P38 cream seats and do something with the front seats too.

That is why I have a BlackBird, the constant dash between Wiltshire and Glasgow would be hell on a learner bike like the cat

I'll not get in trouble for that, she knows who's boss. When I speak she trembles.... Then shivers, then giggles then doubles up laughing....

Shouldn't all good car seats be christened?
Now here's a thought, you now need a coffee table like the one on Top Gear, that would go really well.

That's been thought about, I have one, possibly two, SV engines that I could use the casings from and maybe pistons.
I've seen a good V8 table where they used four pistons to support the table glass like above and then the other four pistons as the feet.

Not at all - You'll know when you receive your payback.
It might look something like this

Re: I made THIS
When I was a kid I dragged a Ford Zephyr leather seat (from a car the old man was breaking down for spares for his other one) up five flights of stairs for my bedroom.
It was super comfy.
That was then (when I was 9 and only sat in it for 20 minutes at a time).
These days I can't wait to get off the bastards.
Example:
From here to Wick or Thurso is between five and six hours each way.
By the time you get back (12 hours+ on exec superfirm leather seats) you have a humphy back and a seriously sweaty arse crack.
I have found on those kind of runs that having a couple of fleeces handy is ideal.
You can use them to pad out the arm rests on the door and centre console.
(I drive a Honda Accord, I'm not tall but it seems to be made for short arses)
One thing's for sure, I won't be buying a full leather trim again
