All back safe and sound.
GREAT people, GREAT roads, GREAT overtakes (ok....maybe not all of them), GREAT snooker (or mexican pool), GREAT accomodation, GREAT WEEKEND.
Thanks to everyone for making it.......GREAT!
ps. You'll all need to come back up as we found some even better roads on the way home!
Hopefully see you all again soon.
Cheers

Re: Wee Mac 2 - Sign In
I have to agree with the general greatness of the weekend - a real mix of bikes (and people...) all shapes and sizes, fantastic weather and 100 bottles of beer.
Thanks to Ross for his planning and to all for coming along!

Great weekend, wish I'd come along with you guys as the ride back to Lancaster was over far too quick! Good to see some old faces and some new (to me) ones. An absolutely brilliant ride on the Saturday with some choice moments, especially the mad half hour at the end!
Apparently the games room that we were staying in was haunted - a 17 year old girl killed herself so they say - happier that I heard about it on the way out!
Can't wait for big mac!!
p. Suzie: was that you I saw on Caton Road in Lancaster a couple of hours ago? I was coming out of the shell garage on my black cat in a blue t shirt (me not the bike)...

Re: Wee Mac 2 - Sign In
One half of the pizza delivery girls back safe and sound - had a brill time, as usual, i think i may be keeping up a bit more now too haha (and even managing the gravel )
Looking forward to the next one. and no Krusty it wasn't me it was my grown up twin - i expect it was Fi if it was the bling big bike - mine is the small red/black/white one! Ok - we own up - Fi decided to escort me halfway home but it was an excuse so we could go find a few more landmarks - we landed up nearly at Alfie's so decided we would invite ourselves round for coffee and cake (well, coffee anyway we'll get him trained eventually) and went our separate ways from there so i've a feeling it would have been her. However - i did get passed on the A1 when i was nearly home by someone on a red thundercat!!!
Suze
PS Rosco, your party piece with the fag really needs some practice but please bring Euan again - i've not laughed so much in ages!!!

Rob and Linz signing in!
We would like to thank you all for such a cracking weekend! It has been a weekend full of laughs and smiles and we would like to thank Rosco for the whole weekend (but in particular, the ride back from your house with just our 2 bikes, thanks to Linz being stupid enough to leave my spare visor at your house cos if it wasn't for her we wouldn't have done it and wouldn't have had the chance to surprise the others of how quickly we can ride by catching up with them ).
Everybody has been great company and made the weekend really enjoyable and hopefully Euan will join us on another outing and make us all laugh with his one liners (Linz is still tickled when she thinks about the Crow joke ).
Sorry for not coming back with you Rosco but we just bimbled home at a steady 70 after enjoying such a fantastic rideout yesterday until we reached Newcastle then a steady 90 or so (kph officer, honestly!!).
Thanks again and hope to see you all again later in the year at other rideouts.

I'm back too - yeah okay I know.. I live closest to Galashiels but as you'll have seen from Suzie's post I decided to accompany her some way down the road (those landmarks are addictive Suzie!!) on her journey home.....
Yep Krusty, that was me that did the double take at you coming out of the Shell on Caton Road, was just heading home from Alfie's Nice to see you twice in two days though hehehe
Rosco, thanks for organising a fab rideout (well the bit I completed anyway!) and for organising some decent weather

Another massive thanks to Rosco, you outdid yourself again mate. Weekend was fantastic, company was brilliant and it was lovely to have such a big turnout.
Weather was good all weekend and soon warmed up on the way down.
Even more gutted that I can't make Big Mac now :(
Cheers folks.

I wasn't as sure as you of Euan's sexuality but he did kinda cuddle more than just hold on now I think about it.Ezzy's Mum! wrote:Rosco, your party piece with the fag really needs some practice but please bring Euan again - i've not laughed so much in ages!!!
I did manage to pimp my beeatch to Chris and Terry for a spell but just like a bad smell (or the inside of Mally's "boil in the bag" leathers ) I couldn't get rid of him for long :bball:
Still smiling.........

Hah! Beat you!!!! I did just under 900!!! No wonder my a*se is so sore - tho maybe the scramble down to the navvies' graveyard didn't help!!!!!!! Bloody landmarks!!!!
Time on the bike well that just about ticked the 18 hour mark i think (hence the sore bum and locked knees!) and as for the average speed - yeah right - would that be when you were back marking for the first part of the rideout?????
