I had one '0' they, same colours (was told ~ in 98 ~ it was yamaha america racing colours) mine was a US parallel import through Holland.

Cheers oldcat
n cool, thought it may have been from America as there's a sticker with the weights on and that and its in pounds,
Only place I can think of that uses imperial measurements mines a 98 as well. Where ever it's from I love it anaways.

Re: littledel's thundercat
Like your bike mate. Like it so much i used to own it!!
Yeah your right, it is an american import. Looks similar to others, but the decals on the fairings are one-offs. They have blue carbon effect on the sides instead of the normal flat blue.
Like your bar-ends, they're nicer than the ones i had on there.
Glad to see it's gone to a good home. Hope it still sounds as good as it did before. Not sure if you know, but bike has a few mods. K+n air filter, dyno jetted, and obviously the exhaust.
Had forgotten how nice it looked! hope it's still running sweet.
Let me know if you want any more history on it.
Cheers, Woody

Re: littledel's thundercat
A up mate small world.lol and solves a wee mystery as to where she came from. did notice the decals on the fairings didn't realise it one a one off tho. Just thought was added by the previous owner. took the one off the yoke tho, thought it looked better in my eyes. As for the bar ends there still the ones that came with it. Again blue anodised bits arn't my cup of tea tbh so took em off and emery clothed them up came up all shiny. Done a few other things me self put a black tinted screen on different indicators, s/s downpies about it rly. And yea did find the receipt for all the work. So thankyou for that.he he And love the exhaust note
put a thread in the workshop bit actually runs fine but a little lumpy when riding slowly with a whiff of throttle. Can't rly think of owt else to ask bike runs fine over the moon with it.

Re: littledel's thundercat
Good to see your looking after it and doing your own mods(that's half the fun!)
Was my first bike after passing my direct access. Loved it too, only changed bikes because i sat on my mates zx9r and it just seemed to fit! not bad on the juice either- you should get 200 miles out of the tank if you go steady. And if you go less steady and having fun, you'll still get 170! Happy days....
