Avoid South / SW London and Surrey on Sunday 14th August

Nope, not because of a riot re-run but there is a cycle race taking place and it is a 'practice run' for the Olympics. A map and description of the closures can be found here

Those of us in the area have had weeks of warning, but the penny's just dropped for me to mention it here in case anyone may be planning a ride or drive in Surrey. This time it is one day, when it's the real deal the roads will be closed for more than 3 days

I'll most likely be heading the other way and Marshalling an Afgan Heros ride in Kent.
