jacket sizes

need some help here just seen a mint leather jacket for sale think it maybe too small ive got a 42" chest and the jackets a 42 would this be too small for me some say get a size smaller some say bigger anyone the same chest as me here dont know if i should risk it but iam too tight to pay 180 quids for the one i want thanks

hmm .. all jackets are different aren't they - i would say could you try a 42 on but then thats no saying the other one'll fit eh? Take it you're not able to try it on?

pmsl i've just seen your post on my jacket - is that the one you're talking about on this? If so i can do proper measurements for you

no sorry its an rst leather on ebay but i might be interested if its the right colour

only suggestion i can give is if you see the same make somewhere when you can try it on - but then when i was trying on FT trousers they still were the same size even though they were the same make

that was meant to say 'WEREN'T' the same sizes even though they were the same make!

Probably too late to help, but I tried on some RST Razor kit in Hein Gericke today - HG have 20% off leathers until the end of the month.

Anyway, I'm 6 ft tall and 40" chest and I needed a size UK 48 (EUR 58) jacket to have enough room in the shoulders and be long enough in the arms.

i got a size 42 it is tightish but i was told is better this way it will stretch in time ha 189 quids in shop i got it for 110 god i love a bargin

My old one-piece leathers always used to shrink over the winter.
