My Cat goes in tommororow for a Dyno Jet Kit to be installed, my mechanic managed to source a stage 3 kit, so that is getting done tommorow!

The Carbs needed cleaned and balanced, so i thought why not just stick a nice setup in there while they are of the bike!

Since then i have decided i am going to be going mega, currently trying to source some race cam's and some forged internals Laughing

So my question is... who has played with their thundercat engine? Anyone on here? it would be good to find out

wee update on how she stands at the moment!

My cousin told me there was an kit installed on mine but since I don't really know what that means I just left it there.
Interested to hear of your / others findings.
How are you going to test it? Is a rolling road the best / only way?

My, that is a big fat bike next to yours in the 2nd picture.
Now I know why they need a ladder to get on it!

Once I get round to cleaning my bike I must pop along the road for a wee pootle aboot sometime if you fancy.

Cheers

Well the engine/carb work starts today so i will be out testing it later on! The dyno jet kits are already setup, but for a ideal setup you are best to RR it, which is what will happen.

The ZX6R is atually lower than my cat, i sit on the 6R with a bend in my legs, wish the cat had a slightly lower seat like that ..

Forks are being dropped slightly to to make it handle quicker and to bring the back end up a little

Yea mate im up for a run! would be nice to a blast with a fellow thundercat owner green smile

Only thing I did was take the casings apart to fit a new 6th gear pinion cos the dogs has worn for 2nd/3rd gear, so you COULD say that was a performance enhancer

Very Happy

Ooh, we just got a ZX6R F for the missus, but it's a bit tall for her so need to lower it, have you had the seat fettled with or is it a standard seat?
