Speedohealer v4 Empty Speedohealer v4

Post  dudeofrude Sun Sep 11 2016, 13:58

Juse been giving the new bike a proper going over and I've found something underwhelming seat called a speedohealer v4?
I've Googled it and it seems to be some kind of electronic correction kit to make sure the romantic and speed is displayed properly.
Any idea why it might be on there?
Only thing I can think off is if the gearing has been changed?

On most modern motorcycles factory speedometer over-reading could be as high as 10%. So even a modest gearing change can have the speedometer off by 15%. Changing the sprockets will also result in higher odometer reading, decreasing resale value without valid reasons. The SpeedoHealer is an inexpensive, convenient and very simple way to sort these speedo and odo issues. Compatible with all motorcycles with non cable driven speedometer. Get your fix today – You won’t find any better alternative on the market! The SpeedoHealer is the most popular and reliable calibrator in the world – acknowledged by thousands of happy customers worldwide.
Note: The SpeedoHealer can also be used to remove the top speed limiter on certain vehicles for racing purposes, including: CBR1000RR, VFR800X, VFR1200F, ZX-10R, ZX-12R, ZX-14, FZ-09, MT-09, R1, V-Max, Can-Am ATVs and many more.

Could be a change of gearing, change of wheel/tyre size or even a foreign import with a km/h speedo. Probably the first one.

Isn't the Thundercat's Speedo (and Tacho), cable driven confused

So if this is an electronic widget to calibrate an electronic whizzbit . . . isn't this wajamacallit going to be a redundant tweakabite Exclamation Question

Sorry for the use of all that technical jargon there pmsl

Speedo is cable, tacho is electric as far as I remember. have to admit I was mystified by this gizmo on the 'Cat, sounds something that would go well on the Tracer.
