0ldcat Hospital

Post  SteveCat on Mon Jan 05 2015, 10:51

First topic message reminder :

Tel (0ldcat), the godfather of this site, is in hospital after suffering from Pulmonary Embolism. This can be extremely dangerous and life threatening.

Tel has been recovering, but has been hit by the Norovirus, a most unpleasant setback.

When he is a bit better, I'm sure he'll appreciate some visitors* - he is in the Kings Mill Hospital. Would suggest calling the hospital first to see if he can see visitors when you plan to go.

All the best wishes
for a speedy recovery
Tel

* I have asked him and his wife, Bea about visiting and also for posting the news.

Hi Folks

Firstly - A very BIG Thank You all for your well wishes. I had no internet access in Hospital, so it was special to come home and see the posts here in the forum.
The card was a great morale booster and arrived while I was still on the ward. I was the envy of the bay I was in.

I am sorry it has taken a while to post, but I am still very slowly recouping from the blood clot and the norovirus bonus. Time, patience and plenty of rest are the doctors orders (as well as a whole array of pills and potions).

Only a short post this, as I tire out really, really quickly, and nurse Bea gets very "protective" and rations my time doing things.

Once more, Thank You all so very much for your thoughts.

Hope to see you out there on one of the forum rides and meets this coming season.

Ride Safe, Stay Well

Cheers
Tel

Great to see you back online Tel.
Wishing you a full and speedy recovery.
Nurse Bea will do a good job I'm sure and you'll be able to pinch her bum without getting arrested (I imagine)
