Spain Trip Empty Picos and Pyrenees

Post  Dogsbody Fri Jul 25 2014, 09:00

We did the picos mountain area, stopping for a couple of nights just outside potes. That is Riano on the second pic. The roads as you said are superb and hardly any traffic, unlike the Alps. Then to the Pyrenees. On the NA – 137 I found the most amazing road, best described as a Scalextric track type bend of over 360 degrees looping over yourself, very weird. Back in to Spain on the N-330. Night in Escarilla and the last pic is me on the A-136 border crossing, in cloud with cowbells ringing in the background. Amazing trip but saw very few British bikers other than the all-terrain guys. Great potential for further trips.
