Just bought a bike after 12 year gap (last bike was a 250LC).

'T' reg red/white Thundercat. Brilliant . . . although I'm going very easy at the moment! Photo when I can work out how to do it!

Followed Oldcat's instructions so hopefully . . .

(Looks even better now it's had a polish and the sun is shining!).

Mechanics and cosmetics seem 100% - been well looked after. I'm tempted to clear more space in my garage and look for a basket case Thundercat as well.

Just need new boots now - all my other old kit (except helmet) came out of the loft OK, but rear zip on one boot is u/s. Wearing slipon ordinary Doc Martin's at the moment . . .

I'm usually a 9.5, maybe a 10 depending on the fit, thanks.

Will have a look around - been fantasically lucky with all my other kit - two piece "Gear" (don't think they make them anymore?) leathers from 20 years ago still fit, one piece waterproof oversuit in bum bag still perfect - only been worn a couple of times and always dried and put away carefully. Looked at helmets and couldn't find anything that I liked 100% (especially as I wear glasses/prescription sunglasses), so bought a budget Duchini for £50 and really impressed so far.

All I need now is some time to ride for fun rather than fair weather commute - last weekend went on the boy's fourth birthday party, this weekend it's DIY Sat and work Sun.

Looking forward to getting out - please get in touch if you're anywhere near Dorset!
