I've just arrived back from a friends house over Notts way with a new bike, an RGV250 vj22. Not currently running but about to be restored completely by my son and I. Anything to keep him of the xbox was my thinking of course..... Wink

They're an awesome bike! Good luck with it, and can't wait to see the finished bike. For a 250 they're incredible fun, and razor sharp rapid!

No plans for the track Chris, very sympathetic, back to original restoration planned and some twisty fun with the big boys to follow, I'd like to think she may even make a future ride out also, as much as I'm going to get a great deal of enjoyment out of this project it's as much for my lad as it is for me.

I love 2 stroke bikes and you will be amazed what you will be able to keep up with so long as you keep it buzzing the powerband! Watch out for crumbling powervales on these, but above all have fun!

Will have to a RD and RGV gathering in a haze of blue smoke at some point over the summer if possible

Good luck with the rebuild, keep us posted

I was considering doing a restoration thread Kev but would it not be a little out of place, a Suzuki rebuild on a Thundercat forum??
