Gail "thecatlass" Richards Memorial Day 13th July 2013

Evening folks, the following has just been posted on Facebook by Dave Gardner;


Gail "thecatlass" Richards Memorial Weekend

We are arranging a weekend of bikes and laughter in memory of Gail "thecatlass" on July 13th at the Manor Cafe located just outside Bellerby, near Leyburn and Hawes on the A6108

The cafe is open from 9am to 8pm and we will be officially starting the day at approximately 12pm going on until late with overnight camping on hand at £3 per head! (Gail loved a bargain!)

We will be playing Gail's Bikerfm road racing radio shows through-out the day so if you have a favourite interview or feature then let me know and we'll make sure its featured along with her favourite music, bloopers and as many best bits as possible! There might well be a couple of well known road racers present so watch this space for further updates!

We will be arranging a ride out in Gail's honour to one of her favourite bike meet locations and giving her a great biker send off.

If anyone has any questions and to help with the planning you can let us know if you are going to be attending then please contact myself either on this post or by private message if you so wish

If anyone is aware of any other forums Gail was active on then please feel free to copy this post there to get the message out as far and wide as possible as Gail "thecatlass" Richards was such a big part of the road racing community and a true biker so lets give her the best send off we possibly can surrounded by as many of her beloved biker family & friends as possible!

"I'm going to speak to Kath who owns the Manor Cafe to find out how we book the camping and I'll get back with the information over the weekend Matt. Cheers"

yep  just  checked im  off  starting  that  sat  13th so  will be  coming

I live about 2 miles from this venue, so if I can help in any way let me know. Incidentally there is a camp site opposite where I live behind a pub called The Pheasant. Its more of a caravan site to be honest, but he does accept campers, and there are toilets and showers.

Ill be at work so will miss this. Otherwise I'd be there.

i was  thinking  yes i can  do that  sometimes  times
how  about  getting  some T shirts  made for  the memorialfor  gail some  thing like  the  thunder cat logo on the  front  & on the  back some think on  the  lines of in memory of  the  catlass & the  date
