Dont know if any of you have seen this and are volunteers or have thought of doing so?

Looks like you need an IAM, RoSPA Gold or Silver or Police Class 1 Motorcycle qualification.

Always something I have wanted todo a soon as I got a Bike license but with the year i'm having.....

Will lookup my local one, always good to get a foot in the door in someway and help out even if you can't do the riding element. wink thumb up

Had a quick look on the page you linked but didn't see anything about required qualifications, will have a more detailed look when I am not in work.

You need to have passed your advanced motorcycle test (IAM).

Need a recognised advanced riding qual (IAMs, ROSPA, Police class 1) within the last 3 years, be over 25 and have to have had your full licence for over 3 years.

I've looked into this and will be registering with Manchester as soon as I have the necessary experience under my belt. I think it's a fantastic service not just for blood but fluids, milk etc and hope to do my part as soon as practicable.

What! You can get milk delivered by super-bike and the NHS pays!?

What do you have to have wrong with you to get that service?

You only need those qualifications to ride the serve bike , but you can do it on your own , there's no money to be made and it's free for the nhs as a way to save them money

Sorry buddy, but you can't

There are all sorts of Insurance reasons your own policy won't cover you for doing that task . . . . have a gooood look at your policy.
NHS won't go near you for the same reason . . . it's not just a pint of OJ or half a dozen eggs you have on board mate.

It's genuine 100% life saving fluids/organs or equipment . . . . .

Do you really think they're gonna post up on faceborg or twatter and ask if any biker "just happen" to be going past St.Bernadettes & all Prophets NHS Trust . . . . Do us a favour chap, drop this kidney off for us Shocked
