Hello and Merry Christmas

Hello all,

Just signed up and saying hello. I am afraid I am not really much of a biker so have never joined a bike group before, however; I am looking at selling my Cat and stumbled upon your site. I have had my bike for nearly 8 years and done less than 3000 miles so you see what I mean about not being much of a biker! Every year my wife pesters me to sell it, so I get it out and just go for a short ride which puts a massive grin on my face and I tell her to shove off it's staying.

If only I had found sites like this when I first got my bike I might have been more into them! Just from having a quick look around it seems there are a lot of friendly, knowledgable people here.

Merry Christmas all (and if anyone is after a Cat in the Oxfordshire area give me a shout!)

Hi, welcome - hang around here, you never know you might get the riding spark back. You might want to put a post in the For Sale thread (Personal Classifieds, Selling Your Bike), but I'm sure you'll appreciate prices tend to be lower at this time of year - hold off till spring if you can.

Thanks. I have placed the ad, just wanted to say hello here first! I know holding off would be the best thing but it is still T&T'd at the moment so wanted to have a go, otherwise I get into the same cycle every year. Take it to the garage and fall back in love on the ride home so decide to keep it in the garage for another year!

Welcome to the site Pipes!

Shame you didn't find us earlier, but no one'll stop you making up for that. We hardly know you after all. Remember, you only get one chance at this life, so if you still get a thrill out of riding make a New Year's resolution.

If you want to sell the bike then I hope you find a buyer soon. But as Rosco says we'll still be here if you change your mind.
