WOW
That is one fantastic looking machine there Dave, very nice indeed.
How does this compare size-wise to a cat? I mean the size of the frame, seat height etc.

Re: Ducati 999 for sale
It's pretty similar. When you onboard it feels like your sitting in it rather than on it as the tank is shaped so you can tuck your knees in.
It looks tiny compared to the cat. I've a pic of them both together. Il stick it up on another post. The power is very addictive tho. Mucho torque. Am really gutted to have to let her go. Just hope I've made the right choice in her replacement. Am having doubts already just going over these pics.

I can vouch for it being a lovely bike to ride
I found it comfy and fun to ride, Im 5 ft 11 and didnt find it too small.__________________________________

I dunno - the 999 replaced a fireblade with £500 Spanish tyres that were quite impressive i seem to remember.
DBD - I did tell you we would get more mileage out of those tyres than you would

Anyhoos you can pick your 'new' bike up anytime. You still need to put it back together and put it through its MOT though. Road tax would help too.
Cheers
Rosco

If you mean the spanish tyres - DBD was advised to get brand new tyres for our trip to Spain a few years ago but he thought one might make it and the other one should make it.
He was wrong on both counts and it cost over £500 for the pair of tyres fitted. Lesson learnt.
As for the 'new' bike. He's put a bid in for mine. One careful lady rider.

It took two days and lashings of cheap red plonk by the litre carton to get that scowl off your coupon.
Had to double take on Ellie's post as I thought you'd sprouted Dave. But it was Ellie just before the emotional roller coaster post ride-out mini Rideout where the rest of use endured all the different smileys. We spent ages looking for you while you were back at the digs washing your hair.
I don't get to use excuse anymore :(
