how easy are these kits to fit? especially for numpty like me

ill run you through it quick

seat off
connect points to battery
run the wire behind the fairing ( no need to take fairing off)
unscrew the air scoop plastic bits
mount the ballast
put the bulb in
connect all wires
turn on


if you have never fitted before allow 30 mins

dont you need the nose fairing off?
and if its connected straight to the battery, will it effect the bikes general electrics?

no dont need the front end off atall, the bulb goes in the exact same way as a normal bulb, the wires come out the back, feed and place the ballast under the panels where the air scoops are

and i have had mine on now 4 months with no effect what so ever to electrics,

That's 4 kits now sold just on t cat forum you will all love them. Mine are so much better!

It's only taken me 2 months to fit the kit, and then I had the spanner do it!!

Was fitted yesterday, so really early days to say what it is like in varying conditions. As I already have one in the other 'Cat, I can do some comparisons.

This unit is easier to fit than the one I got from HiD City and I believe the rubber boot did not have to be cut to fit over the mechanism
On the road, it is a bit difficult to tell whilst in the built up area, but it does seem to have a pretty good spread. At a set of lights I tried out the high beam and nearly blinded the commuters waiting at a bus stop on the other side of a multi lane carriage way (well if they didn't get blinded I did from the reflection!)

In time I'll try it out on the out of town roads where I tested the other HiD and found it lit up the tree tops, signboards and not the road, hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised.

Any news on delivery of these? 10 days and counting ;0)
