Thundercat in pieces Empty Thundercat in pieces

Post  thunder-ol Sun Dec 25 2011, 14:47

Hi All. My thundercat is in pieces being sold for spares. Should be on ebay in next couple of days so shall post a link. Condition is mediocre for most parts, planning on repairing bodywork and priming it for sale. Black, silver, orange, some pieces are okay. MIcron exhaust with a couple of dents, stainless steel downpipes 2 yrs old. She is completely stripped now, DVLA has acknowledged as scrapped, not sure if this means engine can be sold or not, but happy to pick it to pieces as required! More info and photos to follow shortly, thought I would see if anyone here needed anything first?

Works okay, adjusters move, looks a bit tatty, will give it a clean and get a photo up later or in the morning. Not sure where to pitch really, £55 posted to you if you want it?

General list, anything that was on the bike is available.
Front forks
Top and bottom yokes
Swing-arm
Rear shock
S/S downpipes,Micron exhaust – fairly tatty, maybe for trackdays etc, some dents.
Foreign headlight. Tail light, 4 indicators, 2 front, 2 rear. Lightly scuffed.
Airbox and all ducting
Clutch, choke, throttle cable. Brake lever, handlebars, windscreen, lightly scuffed wing mirrors, instrument panel. Seat-slight damage to front left ‘corner’.
Front and rear wheels – can remove discs/axles/sprocket/speedo drive
Engine parts – couple of the exposed cases are scratched but rest available – sprocket cover, carburettors, etc
Brake calipers front and rear with braided lines, these are probably as spares, paint peeling, could do with freshing up. Master cylinders, front and rear,
Petrol tank – black, small dent to left hand side
Full wiring loom
Plenty of other parts shout if anyone wants a photo of condition, everything must go.
Open to offers and requests! Plenty of bolts and fixings, tried to keep them with parts but not always the case.
Will try to put up a few 'prices' asap
Ebay is not playing ball with my ad so only here at mo.
Cheers,

They don't look brand new, about 3000 miles old, some blue-ing close to engine. Not sure if the image upload has worked.

Left hand fairing cracked through decal and heavily scraped, down to plastic in places. Right hand tail piece along side seat is decent, couple of faint scratches, don't stand out though. Is silver.

grab handles are fine, decent condition. Not much can go wrong luckily! Can probs find the screws if you wanted them as well. How about £15 posted? Slightly less than on ebay, no other knowledge to go on.
