Re: Got my new car today!
Isn't having differing opinions interesting!
Vauxhall are now making some very nice cars, but 5 years ago I wouldn't have considered any of them. Dull, boring rep-mobiles and chav-chariots. The current Astra, especially in coupé guise, is a nice thing. The Corsa is right up there in its class and the Insignia can hold its head up against a Mondeo, Passat or any French or Italian models. Not quite up to BMW/Audi territory but they've done a good job of turning themselves around.

Re: Got my new car today!
Nice motor sir, big respect for the skoda, come a long way in recent years and VW powered/technology/comfort level without Bavarian price tag. I'd certainly consider one of the newer generation Skodas if I have to buy in the future.

Working in the motor trade for a quarter of a century
means I've seen many many changes but Skoda has to be one of the most successful.
I personally like Skoda's & the Octavia is a favourite of mine.
Enjoy your new car Paul

You need to adjust the colour on your screen then, anyway what difference does it make?
It might be the perfect colour to hide all the dust and mud

Re: Got my new car today!

Spotted one up here in frozen Norway today but it was shiny grey(silver)..
Funnily enough i nearly bought a new (to me) car last week until i got the trade-in figure for my car......£1500 for a car that cost £63K(when new) not even 10 years ago ( i didn't but it new tho)....no thanks..buggers its worth at least £6k!!! so i declined..
