Breaking thundercat

Everything will go onto e-bay (easy bits first then the rest as I learn to take it apart!), but thought I'd offer here first.

It's a 2001 yellow/silver/black, although the fairings are a bit tired.

How much for the indicators?

Front indicators?
They're fine externally but the internal fixing plate on one of them is a bit bent and a pain to fit -£20 the pair delivered

Rear indicators?
Both good (as far as I know - never had them off!) - £25 the pair delivered

and for the saddle/seat?

Seat has no damage to main section but wear to front corners (through to the plastic) hence £15 + postage

Hi Mark
The right mirror is good but the left is a bit tatty (the retaining bolt is rusty and may not be original, the black is more grey).
Left mirror £10 delivered
Right mirror £10 + postage

Can I have the attachment bolts and brake line hose clips that attach the rear part of the front mudguard to the forks?

tyres are good (rear almost new - 200 miles) but may have been sold already. I'll let you know next week if they don't go.

Hi mate, how much for headlight unit including retaining clip, dust cover / coil and ht leads / clutch lever / front calipers - if you can give me individual prices and an all in that would be great

If it's still available and in good condition I might be interested in the Generator cover from the left side, says Yamaha across the middle.

The clutch cover is on the right side, on the left side is the generator cover I asked about a few posts before ;-)

If you sit on the bike (forwards!!!) the clutch cover is at you left leg.

0% sure!.......I'm a dafty!

The alternator cover and the biggest cover (name escapes me) would be at your right leg.

OK - I'm a dafty, My engine must be on backwards. It is the clutch cable that goes down to the front sprocket cover that made me think this was the clutch cover.

From Haynes under "Clutch removal":
"1 Drain the engine oil (see Chapter 1).
2 On YZF models, remove the right-handl
fairing side panel (see Chapter 8, Section 3).
3 Working evenly in a criss-cross pattern,
unscrew the clutch cover bolts (see
illustration). Lift the cover away from the!
engine, being prepared to catch any residual oil
which may be released as the cover is removed."

Why would we remove the right fairing panel to access a cover on the left side of the bike?

This cover in the image is on the left side of my bike as I sit on it, I can see it out of my window!

Clutch cover and the starter cover are on the right side I believe.

That is on the left hand side!! The one where you put the oil is on the right hand side!!
