South meets North(ish)
First topic message reminder :
Ok guys its time for uslazy comfortable southerners to make an effort and explore what the other end of the country has to offer!
Everyone from everywhere welcome of course
....Tel (Oldcat) and I'm sure others are willing to show us some roads in their hole territory so I think a nice day out is called for...
If your like myself unable to get a weekend pass to get involved in the bigger rideouts then lets try and at least get a days ride and put some mileage on the clocks. We shall discuss a meeting point for the southies so we can ride up to where ever it is we are going.... I'm hoping Tel can fill that gap so we at least know where we are heading
We need to roll this out pretty soon so I reckon the first weekend of August Saturday 6th or Sunday 7th suggestions are necessary
May not be able to cater for all but a decent number will make it a blast so please get involved and let me know who is interested and which date you would prefer (the majority vote wins obviously)
Would be great to see old faces and meet some new ones!
Suggestions of meeting place would be appreciated also... depends who in the southern region is interested of course so we can pinpoint a location that is easily accessible to everyone
Many Thanks
Paul

Re: South meets North(ish)
Don't think our southern [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] cousins can make it anymore.
There seems to have been a sharp intake of breath at the distances & time factors, so think the South_meets_North(ish) run has been mothballed for the time being.
I may be mistaken ? . . . MrFrance ???
There is still of course [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] for those interested in a trip out on the 6th

Re: South meets North(ish)
I'd love a ride out, pretty much anywhere north south east west. I'm in Manchester area so anywhere within a couple of hours to get to not out of the question> I'm also open to the option if any "northerners" want to meet up anyway, (i.e Yorkshire, lancs, Lakes etc). Spent good money on bike, tent etc and want excuses to get out and use both!!
