Seaways.. Sunday 25th April 2010

Post by Ezzy's Mum! on Sun Apr 11, 2010 6:46 pm

First topic message reminder :

Some of you may remember Nick (Yorkshire thundercat) organised a meet at Seaways last year - Fi and I have decided to meet there again this year (weather permitting) on the same weekend to remember Nick (and have a bacon butty no doubt green smile ).
We'll be there about 1pm if anyone else fancies meeting up there for a cuppa and a chinwag (and a photo opportunity! see how many thundercats we can get there this year).

I may be a tad late - looks like i'll be finding my way there on my own so hopefully i won't get either lost or waylaid by the bikesafe thing at Humber Bridge Very Happy (or be too knackered from my day at the MCN at Skegvegas on Saturday where i will be doing a guest appearance on the IAM stand! )

One of the lads has done a great route. Meet at Otley, head out to Northallerton then on to Helmsley then to Fridaythorpe. Some great roads that way too. After Fridaythorpe we are going to do the twisties back to Squires if anyone wants to play..

All, depending on how Lesley is tomorrow I might be able to get out on the run. Laughing

I'll be setting off around dinner compete with a bottle for each of the ladies that has kept me going for the past two and a half months. (They know who they are! Embarassed ) Well they did ask when I went to the states!

So hopefully I'll get to put faces to typing and get to try out the new kevlar jeans, not literally though! Plus blow the US air out from between the ears! naughty

CU all tomorrow.

Well the Ace is all fuelled up and ready... map carrier attached, camera in bumbag, waterproofs netted to bike. Will print off some directions to have as well.... bloody small maps lol! Hmmm Rich, will my bum bag be big enough?? Ach well maybe the cargo net will suffice hehehe!

Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow - oh and Martin/Paul - I may be coming in via Helmsley, so if you see me dithering about, just pass wide and wave..... I'll see you at Seaways lol!

I'm no Rossi either... Might get a bit wet tomorrow by the look of the forecast? Typical, Sunday comes and Sunday wet!

Paul i imagine your idea of no Rossi and ours are quite different. I'm squeezed into my waterproofs and doing a haka across the living room now in an attempt to be able to bend my knees to actually get on the bike! See you soon
