Off to Spain in the morning
First topic message reminder :
Dirt Bike Dave, Furball, Eddie990, Catapulted, TerryLees and I are off to Spain tomorrow. (well heading doon sooth tomorrow and then the Ferry on the Sunday)
Hoping to set a new record of the furthest travelled on my bike but won't want to be breaking this NAUGHTY RECORD
We might get a chance to post up while we are there but if not I'm sure we will bore to tears with stories and pictures and maybe even some video when we come back.
Radar has set the bar for write-ups ....... don't know if we'll manage to raise the bar but we will try.
Cheers
Rosco

Re: Off to Spain in the morning
Hi Guys,
Great to see a post telling us you're back.
Had only been wondering today how you were all getting on.
Hope to hear all about it once you've managed to rest up. Oh and see the pics - just to make me feel even better!
Cheers,
Chris
PS Have just had the bike serviced, MOT'd and new chain and sprokets - so when are you going again

Re: Off to Spain in the morning
I managed to get home about 10pm on Thursday. Took me a whole day to recover so only just posting up now.
Had a fantastic time on some seriously tyre shagging roads. My brand new rear for the trip is now officially toasted and I expect to spend the entire bank holiday removing my newly aquired insect graveyard from the bike.
As a group we had a couple of mechanical gremlins to overcome along the way but we all made it back to the UK with big grins, invisible chicken strips and empty pockets.
Right off to wash me Rammies then

Re: Off to Spain in the morning
Wow! what can i say? Still can't believe its all over..
The roads, the craic, all in all a fantastic time was had by all...even tho i got shafted for a couple of tyres ( note to self....next time get new rubber BEFORE you go to Spain)..Don't think i've laughed for so much for so long..even tho my tyre prices were the butt of most of the hilarity.
Think Rosco takes the prize for having the most amount of different items bungied onto a bike...ever..
Can't believe road after road was so good..and the scenery was better than anything i've come across before.
Just over 3000 miles and still itching to get back on the bike today...
